I need to know more about manual cars. Is there an extra pedal besides brake and accelerator? I've heard of this "clutch" thing. What is it exactly and how do you work it?

LOL!!!

Hey if you always match your revs perfectly, who needs a clutch!?!?! Except for that pesky take off from standstill business.

OK. These should definitely help. Here are the RAZO pedals I was referring to.

Invest in these BEFORE driving school.

"? Pedals before Driving school?"

Bhah! ????

Everyone should go to driving school before they buy a sports car! You will love the car that much more. No matter how good you think you are you can be better. The better you are the more fun driving will be.

Everyone should go to a rally school, too. Summer and winter.

Tim O'Neil's safety school in Franconia (way upstate), New Hampshire.
Yeah, baby.

heres another recomendation:

the type of shoes you are wearing when you are heel/toeing

i would recommend vans or puma shoes. these shoes have a medium to thin sole which allow for greater feel of the pedals and have a stiffer sole which also makes the motion of the actual heel/toe much easier. i find driving in these shoes to be very nice and suiting for the proper race driving.

however when i wear my converse or sketcher shoes i notice that i suck ass with my heel/toe action. im guessing it all really depends on what shoes you are wearing.

THats funny abuot the shoes....I rev match and heel-toe with my sandals alot! I think its just a matter of getting used to the shoes u wear, althoughhhh...i dont htink i could ever get used to doing that with those thick sole boots!

I honestly dont think u have to heel-toe it for EVERY corner......for the really slow corners, I think the engine braking could do just as well (of course u may have to heel-toe it for your final gear), not to mention saving your brakes from overheating

...Think about getting a lighter flywheel too....makes rev matching and heel toing even easier
