Default Trip keeps resetting automatically

Trip Keeps resetting on my odometer automatically. Any idea if I'm doing something to set it off or just an issue with the car.

Seriously though, no, it should not reset on its own unless it rolls over which I think is 9,999. Is it doing it each time you drive it? Sounds like the cluster at least is losing power at some point.

It has reset twice by itself over the past 2 months I'll say. I THINK I might have clicked the "Trip" Button to look at my trip B and clicked it again to go back to trip A, I am not sure. I started the car and it was reset

Battery dying? If the cluster loses power it will reset the trip ODO.

^Sure about that? I've disconnected my battery countless times and never had that happen. Only way you'd know it lost power is the radio (have to re-enter code and channel presets).

There are two trip meters, Trip A and Trip B. Switch between Trip A and Trip B by pressing the TRIP button repeatedly. Each trip meter works independently, so you can keep track of two different distances. To reset a trip meter, display it and then press and hold the TRIP button until you hear a beep and the number resets to 0.0.

I think you may have reset the trip meter by pressing the button too long.

You sure have a low mileage S.
