First let me say that I have total respect for the S2K. In fact, if you search my posts at my350z.com you will see that many times I have said that I would have gotten one if I could have just fit!! But I didn't so I waited for the 350Z that I now have (Black Track Model and I will be seeing a few of you guys out at Buttonwillow on next Fri). My personal opinion between the Z and Stook is that they are roughly equal in terms of performance (only thing that really matters in a sportscar) and any performance advantage would strictly come down to driver skill.

That being said, my350z is getting an alarming ammount of trolls the past 2 weeks. I am pretty used to it from the domestic guys having also owned an MR2 Spyder before the Z, but if anything; it's even sadder when it's a fellow import owner. I know the vast majority of you guys are great and awesome to deal with both at the track, and online, but when we get guys coming over with names like "Honda Troll" and "S2000-2FAST4Z" it just makes all you guys look bad, just as the few bad domestic idiots try to convince us that all Mustang and all F Body drivers are redneck morons. Especially when every post is something totally inflammatory and ridiculous.

I have never once felt the need to come over here and troll. I find that pathetic and extremely childish. I think the only reason that people even do stuff like that is they are already outcast in their home community. I just want it to stop. I promise that if I see any Z guys trolling over here (or anywhere) that I will do my best to expose them for children they are, and hopefully the longtime respected members here will do the same.

Do you have any proof that anyone from this board is behind any of the trolling you've seen? If not, then you've just soiled your reputation without accomplishing anything. Have you ever searched our board for comments about the 350Z? With the possible exception of the Street Encounters forum I think you'll find we've been very fair when discussing the Z so why would we go over to your board just to make trouble? Enjoy your Z.

IMO keeping your 350Z forum clean of troll's is not the job of the members here. It is up to your moderators/members to stop, lock/delete threads that turn into flame wars. This seems to work very well for us here, now go away

 

Like Kmcc said. Sorry you are getting trolls, but these are forums. Trolls are just part of being on a forum.

 

I went over to your forum, but I wasn't trolling and was attacked by some of the wonderful members calling my car a torqueless POS. I haven't been back, but I must say that the short time I checked out your site it wasn't the wonderful, accomodating place you make it out to be. Every forum has trolls and like has already been mentioned previously on this topic, your moderators are the only ones who can do something about it.
