Default trouble reinstall seats

This is pretty dumb but I've taken out my seats and reinstalled multiple times. This time I can't get the rails to line up right. I've tried to line them up before I set them in the car and still didn't work. What am I missing here? I tried looking for a marker/tab or soemthing on the bottom of the rails to see where i need to set them before placing the seat in.

Please help. Very fustrated after 30 min trying. Thanks

Keep trying. Twist the seat clockwise/counter-clockwise until all the holes line up. After you've done the first bolt, position the seat so that the hole lines up on the one diagonal from it. And don't tighten them completely until all four are in.

I'm pretty sure you can place the seat in the car unadjusted then use the built in fwd/back seat adjustment to line up the bolt holes. GL

worst case, remove the other seat and count the rail slots and set the same number on the seat your having trouble with.

Yea,it should be easy but the left and right rails are not in the right place. So now its all askew and no matter how much twisting its not helping.

If you pulled the lever you actually can slide each rail individually. What happened I guess when I was fidgeting I pulled the lever and only one of the rails slid. So now they are offset. Hmmm... I guess I could put the rail's front end perpendicular to the ground while pulling lever to line them up straight. Because on the floor the front holes line up but the back holes are offset. Btw this is drivers side seat.

If you have one rail lined up just count the slots and set the other rail to the exact same posistion.

Each rail can move on it's own when the seat is out of the car. Take the seats out, align the two front on the driver side, and the two rear on the passenger side. If that does not work, holding the seat in the car, release the handle and sile one of the two rails back to line up. This assume the other side is lined up.

Yes it was all lined up but it turns out I just needed 3 hands. Two to push the rail to place (it was that much off after just putting one of the bolts in) and one to screw in from passenger side. So the fiance helped but even that took a while...
