Your English is very good for moving to the U.S.A. two years ago. I doubt I'd do as well learning a new language.

However, on line, your grammar mistakes are held up for all to see. No one can hear your accent or know that you are learning English as a second (or third? or fourth?) language.

You are welcome for the free grammar lesson. As such a rapid learner, I'm sure you'll find value in the time and effort I took to revise your post.

Eitan, your English is fine. It would help to know where your dealer is so some of the friendly folks here can ask why they're jerking you around.

I originally thought you may have been in another country, but since you moved to the States two years ago can I assume you're in the States now? I suspect your dealer may think (incorrectly) since you weren't born here that you're not as smart as they are.

There was a thread on here a few months back...

A guy saw an S2000 inside a mall, from a dealership...

It had this EXACT problem....

Either it's a coincidence-- Or YOU BOUGHT THAT EXACT CAR.

Maybe it was intended for the UK market, where Black & Tan Ale is pretty popular. Or could be it's some kinda Honda tribute to Duke "Black & Tan Fantasy" Ellington. Or maybe it was constructed at 16:20 local time last April 20. Or it could be that eiton ("I don't know what to think" huh???) is making this up. At the very least - and I mean least - this sort of thing is covered by warranty. Enjoy.

It has been a week and you still have not settled this with the dealer. This is unacceptable! Do and say this:

Drive your S2000 to the dealer and park as close to the front door as you can. Avoid your salesperson and find the first person that looks like they are a receptionist. Tell this person you need to speak to the General Manager about your car and one of their employees. Do not let your sales person get in the middle yet.

Tell the GM your story about the door panels and show him. Now tell him the salesperson said he or she could not help you because this car comes from the factory that way. Now tell him about the clutch. And by the way, you are there because you posted this thread on a Honda owners web site with 41,000 registered users and they have all told you the dealership is telling you lies and stealing your money.

If you are not comfortable doing this maybe another S2000 owner in you city will go with you. The power of negative publicity to 41,000 Honda car owners will change their mind and take care of you.

This type of BAD BUSINESS ETHICS really boils my blood. Good luck!
