So i was at work today and a fellow brought in a new civic si for some work. We started talkin about our cars, i said that i had a S2000 and he says that they come w/ forged guts in them stock OEM from the factory... I have never heard of a N/A stock car coming w/ a built inside... Is this true or not?

Forged internals, yes its true.

 

yessir...hence why people FI just slap on a 3mm headgasket and can get to 400-450whp no problem

 

3mm headgasket, and 400hp? WOOOT

 

Forged crank, forged alum. pistons and forged connecting rods too (I think)

 

I have heard other wise. The internals are forged, but are no Eagle rods if thats what you are thinking.
