My brother recently stuffed three golf bags into my S for our golfing trip and managed to close the lid. However, now the right side of my trunk sticks up when the lid is closed. Has this ever happened to any of you guys before? Can anybody think of a possible cause? Thanks!

 

Make sure the lid isn't bent.
You may be able to adjust the nuts on the swing arm inside to seat it down....

But I'm betting that he bent your trunk lid.

It's not a sedan. Don't cram junk in the back.

 

^ Ouch. Yup, I agree. He probably slammed the lid down and bend it over the clubs.

3 golf bags in that trunk! Thats insanity. I wouldn't even think two would fit in there without having to do some major work to the trunk lid. . .

 

Sounds like your in need of a refitted trunk lid at the least, but who knows what all's bent.

Mine sticks up slightly as well. All my hondas have had crap thin metal, but if a few bags of clothes for a road trip could have bent my trunk lip that'd be crap even for honda...

I can barely fit one bag in there.
