Trunk Sticks up when Closed
I don't know either but I'd look around the hinge area for possible adjusting screws /bolts. You might find it easier to take the trunk lid completely off and start a re-install. If you have a manual, It should be a lot easier. Good luck
It's hard to tell, but it doesn't look like bent sheet metal to me. You may be in luck. Is the support arm bent?
The adjustments listed in the manual are for left/right or forward/back. Height doesn't seem to be adjustable (except at the striker, which I assume isn't your problem if only one side of the trunk sticks up).
I'm guessing you bent the support arm (seen in your 4th picture best). Although, that's kind of beefy so maybe I'm wrong.
Take it to a reputable body shop is my recommendation.

when the remote trunk open button is used, is the trunk supposed to pop open a bit, or swing open all the way?
