I had the HKS with and without test pipe and I didn't really notice a loss or a gain in hp, but the sound was amazing. Don't expect a huge hp gain with any dual exhaust for our S.

Are you getting the Hi-Power exhaust or the Hyper exhaust.. THe Hi-Power exhaust is the newer one and it's full stainless steel from cat to muffler. The older one isn't.

I've not suffered any loss w/ my HKS-Hi-Power dual exhaust. Anyone who's ever run w/ me can attest to that. I bought it for the sweet sound ... though I have to say the Invidia sounds even nastier

Bay Area dynoday results showed cars with HKS and 5Zigen exhausts dyno'd way less than everyone else. After these folks replaced their exhausts with stock and a T1R exhaust, they gained it all back.
