regardless of turbo the s is a more nimble car and in my opinion that is what dictates how fun a car is. Speed is fun too, but I prefer to be able to toss it around like theres no tomorrow. Thats just me though.

Go with a 350z and run like 6-8 lbs of boost and it should keep its reliability and be pretty fun.
+1.

I had an 03 350z, bought the turbonetics single turbo kit. just under 400whp at 8psi, on the TN reflash. I put 25,000 worry-free miles on that turbo kit with zero issues.

Ran a 12.5 at 114mph on street tires at 30psi, full interior.

Never once upped the boost past 8psi.

the Z is a great car. Don't let anyone tell you otherwise. Mine was decked out. Nismo suspension (which was awesome, btw), Progress swaybars, Fastbrakes wilwood 6piston front upgrade, motul brake fluid, amsoil diff fluid, Defi gauges, Wedsport SA70 wheels, 18x10 rear 18x9 front, custom oil cooler, Nismo exhaust (which i switched to Power Enterprise....don't ever buy from them. Worst run company ever. Product was nice, but they had no clue how to run a business). 5/16" plenum spacer, etc.

The S2k would also be a great car to boost.

if you have an 06 have you considered the KW high boost kit? there's a guy who claims he threw down a 12.5 on the high boost kit...? supposed to be reliable too as no further engine management is needed since hondata reflashes your ecu.

I'd go w/ the KW as well, since they seem very well engineered.

I wouldn't install an aftermarket turbo on a car I depended on as a DD!

I have a turbo S2k and its my daily driver. I am running the AEM EMS and the car runs perfect. Right now I am running 300HP at 6PSI and The extra power at low RPM is great. I have had turbo Hondas for years with no problems. Its all in the tune.

Well I turbo S2k's G and Zs everyday ... You need to ask yourself what you want the car for besides a daily driver ..

as mention above The z with 8psi will get you 400whp ... but unlike the S it will also be pushing 400ftlbs at the wheels

A single turbo Z will see full boost at 4Krpm...... but a Twin Turbo Z will see it at 2500rpm .

I S2k when pushed beyond its limits can be unforgiving to correct ...

A Z you can drift and play with all day I have a customer with a 500whp Z and it will break the tires loose in 5th gear at 90mph with just the throttle
