Default Turbo Rumors...

On the s2k/nsx at honda-tech, Ben at Import Parts said that DRAG has a turbo kit ready for the s2k and it`s being shot for Turbo Magazine as we speak. Full retail is $4995 and they`ll offer it much cheaper than that. I`ve owned two Drag turbo kits and they are pretty decent.

Any thoughts?

I'm interested - but more details (especially on how they got it to be so cheap) would be needed...any idea on when the article is coming out?

It`s not really that cheap..10k is just really expensive. Their Integra, Civic, etc kits sell for $2995-3499 and work well.

if there was a drag kit for $4k, you bet I will buy one, even if it runs low boost at say 6psi.

It would appear that Drag has let Comptech establish the bseline price for S2K FI kits (if the rumor is true). Too bad really since its unlikely that the S2K kit will include any more parts (or any better parts) than an Integra kit. Considering that they will probably sell more S2K kits than they have prelude kits (if true), the market size argument doesn't hold water with me.

However, whatever the price/performance argument, no engine management, no $$$. Been there, done that, won't do it again :-)

All IMNSHO of course (as if you guys didn't already know what I'd post on this one).
