Try a search; this has been discussed many times.

I say put a supercharger in the car. Less problems from what I hear. Both with the instillation process and operating conditions. I have not heard of a quick and easy install for a turbo yet. Every time I see pictures of turbos being installed, I see duck tape, alumnium foil, and saran wrap all over the place!!!

Also, welcome to the forum. I apologize for lanbrown's rude introduction.

And one last thing. The emoticon that you used is usually used in a situation when you are trying the be sarcastic. In your case, you maybe should have chosen the confused emoticon with the three question marks above your head.

How was I rude? He could get far more information using the search then asking a question. What did you give him, second hand information? Using the search will result in first-hand experience.

This is the guy's first day and probably first topic on the forum and your response is the first response he see's. If you did it to me you know that I will be back tomorrow but he may have taken it the wrong way.

Not every body is so tough skinned. And I know that I don't have any first hand experience, but you know as well as I do that basically EVERY possible topic has been touched on. Also, most topic starts will have their own questions that they want to ask about the topic and if they post in an old thread, the question may never be viewed by the right people.

Hi bibidog and welcome to our forum. I'm not sure which system would be better for your car. You might try our search feature as it is loaded with all kinds of information acquired over the years. If you can't find what you are looking for, perhaps some of our members who have had some experience in both could help you with your question. Meantime, enjoy the forum where I'm sure you'll be entertained and educated in everything S2k. -Ken

Me personally, I'm waiting for a reliable turbo to come out most likely Spugen. If you need power right this minute, I say go for a supercharger, your choices are vortech or comptech. Comptech is more expensive especially with the aftercooler probably around 1500$ to 2000$ more, but Comptech deals solely with Honda/Acura, and I believe the SC is covered under warranty. Vortech is much cheaper and delivers similar power, but you have to drill a hole in your oil pan (some people don't like that) and you don't have the Honda Warranty. Welcome to the board!
