This is the first post i saw, I was just wondering what kind of parts did you use for your turbo kit? And also can your mechanic make me a turbo kit if i send him all the parts? I'm looking for someone to do the pipes for me, and also looking for a stainless steel equal-length exhaust manifold. I have everything else here.

turbonetics t3/t04E hybrid
Blitz Dual stage bov
tial wastegate
greddy type 24 large intercooler

here's all the parts I have, and what kind of fmu did you use? also, do you have injetors on your kit? what size?

I'm very interested, if you can help me out, I'll send you all the parts and money right now.

The turbo is at full boost by about 3600 RPM's and the torque did increase fairly substantially.

Evo S2000,
I will talk to my mechanic about it over the weekend and let you know on Monday. Yes I do have two secondary injectors but I'm not sure what size they are, I will ask that as well. We are not using an FMU, we tried that route first but decided that the secondary injectors and secondary controller worked out better.

Be a man, lower the compression, up the boost, and we`ll go emberass some Viper owners

Congrats Man! It`s always nice to see people do something different.

Actually we're in the process of looking for another short block. I'm planning on embarrassing more than Vipers. By this time next year I plan to be running more boost and probably a direct port NOS set-up as well. I'm looking for my time slip to start with a 10 or maybe even a 9.

derryck, what kind of turbo did you go with? Front mount I/C? Air-air or water-air? equal length manifold? any other mods (removed cat, exhaust, etc)???

Also, can you tell me more about your fuel management setup with your secondary injectors? How much did that part of the setup cost? I know plenty of fabricators and I have access to most of the major parts I would need (if I had the money right now ) but I have been hesitant to even look into a turbo setup because I've been afraid it might end up like some of the not-so-successful setups I've seen for the S2000 before and just not make much power without a full engine rebuild and aftermarket ECU.

I used a ceramic coated ball bearing T3/T4 housing (P58 on center) with a Super H compressor housing. The IC core (approx. 10.5" x 24") is a Spearco (air to air) and my mechanic fabricated the exhaust manifold which is equal length. He also fabricated the downpipe and exhaust, all of which are 3" as well. We used an aftermarket high-flo cat as well. The secondary injectors and controller ran me about $550 I believe. It is a SDS controller and I'm not sure what size the injectors are. We initially tried it w/o the secondary controller and injectors, using a Vortech FMU which worked okay but not as well as the SDS controller with the secondary injectors. I only drove the car briefly and never got out of 3rd but it pulls MUCH harder with less effort on the part of the driver. Full boost (6psi) is achieved at just over 3500 RPM's. The only down side I can see right now is that the 7-8K miles that I was getting out of my S02's just went way down.

This sounds great.
Did you upgrade the clutch also?
I would think with an upgraded clutch....and full boost at 3.5k....we could do some nice clutch slipping launches instead of 7k clutch dumps....sweet ass!!

Derek: Once you get a chance to launch it....post about the best way to do it. I would think at 3.5 k....maybe dump, feather the pedal and go....or maybe a little higher and slip the clutch a little and go....sounds great. keep us posted!!!
