Anyone know if a turbo for the S2000 is in the making yet??? If so who is attempting to and when will it be release..... What is a turbo system consist of?? What is the average price of a completed system. I never had a turbo system before so don't have a clue what the other parts are besides the turbo itself. Yes I've looked at a SC but not interested in a SC at all.Thanks

mark and i had lunch with ryan yesterday, and checked out his turboed car... looks great- he says the off-the-line performance is unchanged, but at VTEC the turbo kicks in and he is almost immediately at 9k.
i understand that installation was simple except for the fuel pump installation (turbo needs more fuel than the stock pump can produce).
maybe he can give you details, as he seemed pleased with the set-up.

 

Is Mark's turbo custom made??? What is the difference in performance comparing a turbo to a S/C?? At wheels....

 

I have the Comptech SC. Great unit and the installation is cake. It makes good power and it will pass smogs when the time comes. A turbo kit will NOT pass smogs w/ an IC (usually) or a blow-off valve which are key components. If you are a boost junky, I`d go the Comptech route or there is another company that is almost finished w/ their`s.
