I made the same jump...99 milano red SI. Great car I sold it 4 months ago for $14.5k with 32k miles (SOCAL resales are still high). I swapped it for a 93 legend to haul the 3 kids, back seat in the Civic was getting tight!

One thing I don't understand is all the discussion about VTEC. I was in VTEC in that car ALL the time and never burned a drop of oil.

Hope the F20 is as bullet proof as the 16b! Congratulations!

Was the same beautiful blue, I have a 1/18 scale die cast model, next to my s2k model The transition was not too bad (first RWD car ever driven), auto-x has definitely helped. I would HIGHLY recommend auto-x'n to anyone new to RWD, it will get you acclimated to it quickly and it is the most legal fun you can have IMO (maybe next to tracking the car, but got to get more seat time first). My SI was first car I had w/moon roof, I said 'I will never own another car w/out it', my S is the first rag top, and well, 'I will always a rag top' from now on Also as far as the engine goes, if you drove a b16, it will be very familiar
Steve
*edit-I sold the SI to the dealer last july at $13k 42k miles, I owed $12.7k on the loan still I was not complaining. They turned around and sold it for $16k

Fausto is definitely the man! Although our deal fell through, he was definitely very helpful in trying to get the deal setup and helping in any way that he can.

Mad props to him!!

I brought the car home yesterday around dinner time and didn't get much time behind the wheel. SO far the one thing that has really caught my attention is how easy it is so shift, unlike my Si. Today it rained all day and the car has been in the garage. I have gone into the garage 3 times already to check on it
I am dieing to make it to 600 miles already,so the real fun can begin on the highway. I am very happy with my selection of the car and the color. Happy revving
