Default Turn Signal indicators too quite

My wife tells me to turn off my turning signal about every other time I use them. Has anyone done anything to increase the volume of the flasher.
I was thinking of installing a heavy duty flasher? If there is one available.

Thanks
Larry

Good morning Larry,

I have had my car for two days now. I thought it was just me leaving the turn signals on!

I think the issue is that the wheel needs to be turned less than other cars when making a turn.

Same thing with me. My wife must have better hearing than I do, because she always tells me when the signal's still on. She even makes the comment that some other driver with his turn signal blinking as he goes straight down the highway must not have an observant wife to tell him to turn it off!

Considering how loud the intermittent wiper relay is, you'd think the signal clicks would be louder... Actually, I think its just b/c the ambient noise level is so much greater that the signal just is not heard. I've done it a few times, and I agree with Destiny2002 that maybe its also b/c we don't have to turn the wheel as much and thus the signal doesn't automatically get clicked off. I've just gone to mannually clicking it off.

I used to do this from time to time, too. I've learned that when I don't need to turn the wheel enough to "self cancel", I use the "lane change" feature of the signal stalk.
