Default Twm Itb's

Just wanted to share. I have not seen these posted anywhere else.

http://www.twminduction.com/ThrottleBody/T...tleBody-FR.html

Looks like good stuff. They sell an optional box to connect to CAI or a filter (6 cylinder box is $400, I cant find price on 4 cylinder box). Carbon Airhorns are a $200 option. The offer free adapters to use stock fuel injectors.

Found them on eBay for $1620 brand new.

They look like they have lots of experience as they sell for many cars and most Hondas. They even make a kit for older Ferrari V8s. They have good options, including first to offer custom box/cover and adapters to use stock injectors.

on most affordable ITBs to date!

Did anyone ever post before and after dyno's from the previous ITB threads? I think turbopwr had some installed but I never really heard much about it.

TWM makes some very high quality ITB's. I've installed them (their 45mm DCOE replacements) on a 600 cc 2002 M.Y. Polaris RMK engine. They make the only real FI option for cars like the TR6.

I think I'd be interested in the ITBs sometime later down the line. Tuning is definitely going to be the hard part for the ITBs.

Found some more price info..

MSRP of S2K kit that uses stock injectors is $1999
Again selling on ebay for $1620
Fiberglass Airbox $230
CF Airbox $330
Airbox has 3 inch opening and can not be pressuried.

Big cams and Port n Polish are a must to see some real gains on any ITB's.

I have never tried ITB's on my new S2000, but have tried several setups on my Integra. I really don't like TWM's, they never performed nearly as well as the Jenvey set up I finally finished with.

people really need to get over this ITB kick. It's not worth anywhere near the trouble. I certainly wouldn't do it again. The car is a major PITAs to drive. Ok $1620, add in another $1300 for AEM EMS, $350 for the wideband. Another $300 to $400 to tune. From the pics, I don't even see the throttle linkage, is there a vacuum for the brakes and map sensor? All additional parts you are going to incur. Now add on top of all of that, the additional headwork, cams, etc that will allow you to get any hp and you are looking at a very easy way to free up your retirement account.
