why is your head hurting? if you've got the extra money get the 03. i bet you can lower the price on that 01 though 17k for 60k miles seems kind of pricey.

 

I'd go with the '03 black because of the glass rear window, but you can get that car cheaper than 20K IMO.

Anyways, I'd go for the 03 because most of the minor problems are fixed by that year. And dont forget, you get a rear glass w/ defroster. Trust me, you'll need it. Good luck.

 

I'd try and talk them down a bit on the '03. If I'm not mistaken, they leaned out the fuel curves a bit for the '02-'03 to produce a bit more power. Also, the glass rear window and factory tweeters are nice factory upgrades from the '01. You also get the cool chrome rings around the tail lights

Couldnt have said it better myself. Though given the prices of the 2 cars, im guessing spending $23-25 on an AP2 may be out of the question for him. I could be wrong though.

 

03 - Black and newer.

 

Just to note, the black paint won't look good for as long. Silver hides a lot of rock chips and swirls and stuff like that.

If I was in your shoes, I'd find a yellow AP1. I didn't like yellow until I owned my yellow crx and now I love it.

The glass window would be nice but is it 3k nicer? Not for me.
