two lane curvy driving

Statistics from the NHSTA have proven that slower drivers are more a risk for danger and accidents than a speeder. They say that the slower drivers are not as intune with the road conditions and other drivers and do not look ahead for possible dangerous situations because they believe the BS that slower speed is a guarnatee that you will be less likely to be involved in an accident.

While I don't believe this is a black and white issue as trivium seems to believe, on a public road, YOUR choices can and do affect OTHERS. So while making that determination, keep it safe for others, not just yourself.
Passing in a way that scares other motorists in any way is inconsiderate and rude even if it's not dangerous. Pass the same way you would if a cop was following you. Go faster later, when nobody else is around.

More like Little League v. AAA ball (with wheel to wheel being the Big Leagues).
). On the track I like to work up to the limit, but I try really hard to avoid exceeding it. On a twisty road I leave a much larger margin for error, because you have to expect the unexpected and allow for it. I can't say that I stop at 5/10ths. or 8/10ths. because it varies depending on the conditions, but if I'm cornering hard enough to feel it then I call it "spirited." Race track speeds on the street are a wreck waiting to happen, and I think more of the Little League.Wouldn't the equivalent of AAA ball be F1?

I might get reamed for this but I'll say it anyway.
Trying to drive like you are in the movie The Fast and The Furious while people are around is plain stupid. You can get yourself hurt, damage your car, get a ticket, or potentially harm others.
That said, if you want advice on how to drive quickly on a "curvy" road is absolutely moronic. Please go to Honda Tech where you will get useful info on how to hurt yourself.

Your remark comparing his query to The Fast and the Furious is a "slippery slope" argument at best.
The reported statistics include all public roads. They do not discriminate on the basis of the number of curves or the amount of cliffs in proximity.
Carelessness, complacency, and poor decision making cause accidents. The original poster was not asking if he could drift his S2K around the Dragon while engaging his NOS and changing radio stations.
In response to the original poster, be polite and reasonable. Do not overestimate your abilities or the car's. Treat other drivers the same way that you would prefer to be treated.

The OP never mentioned anything about driving above the speed limit. He did not necessarily even imply it. You distorted his original statement. That is called a "straw man" argument.

It's all that is wrong with the world today. I believe that ***I*** can rightly determin what is safe for ***ME*** to do, and I don't want your help. Next you can warn us of the dangers of second hand smoke. Then you'll be telling us to let our McDonalds coffee cool some before we drink it. Let it end here.
Sorry you had to wait...

I think he's just trying to tell you to be sure you don't kill or mame anyone besides yourself in the process.
We have fun cars, and we should have fun with them. Fun in a fun car means different things to different people, so instead of defining what "fun is" it should all boil down to having fun without taxing others.
