its pretty simple...for the most power u want to be right at the beginning of vtec so about 6k for most s2ks...so to get the "sweet spot" for each gear ..put it in that gear and rev it up to where its about 6k and check the speed you are at..thats your sweet spot for that gear..like how 48-49 is a sweet spot for 2nd gear to downshift to...to get maximum acceleration...good luck and dont mess ur shit up =]
