Default UK article -- Handling fixes in 2002

There is an interesting article in the UK forum about the S2K's handling and some fixes Honda has made in 2002. Scroll down, the full article is there.

https://www.s2ki.com/forums/showthread.php?...?threadid=30269

This article describes handling traits that I and others have been reporting and that have been the subject of much disagreement. Included are low speed understeer and snap oversteer. They do not, however, as I have, blame these on the tires.

It says they've made a number of suspension changes including roll bars.

Interesting...

Ummm,

Well last time I checked, the S2000's rear suspension was not by way of torsion bars.

Kind of throws the whole validity of the article into question . . .

Good point except that the handling observations are so spot on...

I'm guessing you won't see this in official company print due to the number of oversteer accidents. This information, if true, may well have spilled out of an overenthusiastic engineer rather than being official company line from a PR flak. Of course, it may also be total bull.

In which case, it IS the tires!
