What you think of this idea or (solution) for speed?
Just returned from Italy,France,Switzerland,I was in the french riviera when the attacks in NY
began, my wife and I were stunned and distraught by what we saw on tv,it ruined our vacation. We had rented a little fiat and travelled on french and italians highways, we saw lots of mercs porshes bimmers and a couples of ferraris all travelling at 130+mph.
as we own a house there, my thought is to export my s 2000 to italy and leave it there
to take advantage of those beautifull road with no apparent speed limit.does anybody have any opinion or advice as to the possibility of such an idea.
BTW just before we left for europe I got a speeding ticket for 80mph on I 89,1st one since
buying the car 18 months ago.

Why do you need a great handling roadster for highways? If you want to drive fast just buy an older, cheap, fast car over there, something like a Lancia Delta turbo or like.
I would have thought that you would soon get tired of doing 130 mph in a roadster on a highway.....
just my 2 pence worth...

I lived 25 years in this part of france ( monte carlo ), and now that I have my s2000 here in dallas, I really wish I could take it there. Roads are amazing, beautiful, and the quality of the road itself is definitely far better (don't you think ?). Plus it is much more easier to speed over there. I remember once going from nice to perpignan ( 4 hours drive or so) doing 130+ 90% of the time... ( that was the top speed of my opel astra gsi, my first sport car....)..
