My S2000 has had it's delivery from Holland delayed because they dont have any hardtops. DOH!

Ive been Pricing up the Hardtops in the UK, and they seem to be about

 

Can you also get a better deal buying the S2K in Holland rather than in the U.K.? Or isn't the RHD version available there?

 

You can get them cheaper with the favourable exchange rate, you just have to be careful to specify it to UK spec. e.g Air/ Con, longer warranty (mileage, no big deal) and badging in some cases, longer delivery in some cases also but otherwise it should be the same, more colours available on the continent to boot.

 

I saved around 6k on my car.

The cars retail was cheaper in Holland anyway, and I also watched the FX market closely to get a good exchange rate.

I waited 5 months for it though!!

The car is FULLY UK spec, it is ordered as a uk car, so not a problem there.

490,000 Escudo is ONLY $2,200 U.S. dollars. . . That would be a huge savings!!!

Anyone know the cost/possiblity of shipping a hardtop to the states from Portugal?
