I am not the only one with this modification.

just from my experience yes it is very stable and easy to drive at a high speed this is when i drove to LA to VEGAS. My top speed was 70-135 (dont worry i was alone)

anyways the car never wiggled (not sure if this is the proper word but that's how i usually feel when driving at a high speed.) left and right.

would "wondering" describe it better?

the feeling of the wheel firmly planted to the road but the rest of the car sways side to side?

I don't think you would need it covering the whole underneath of the car, if you can find something better than the stock underpanel up front, and pair it with a functional rear diffusor, you will probably get the same if not better results, at a fraction of the cost.

According to our Engineer the mid section is a key component for the entire diffuser.

i'm no engineer, so i'll take your word for it. I always thought it was due to the balloon effect caused by the rear, so i thought a diffusor could minimize that effect.

i think the reasoning for the S not having a diffuser while its nice looking is the cost vs. performance benefits. the S was never meant to be a top end run type vehicle, its geared way too short. also, after 4th gear the S is pretty much done. plus how often are you barreling at 120+ on a straightaway and hitting the brakes to hit a corner at 50+.
Every time a 25mph exit ramp comes up

How does your engineer know this if there is no wind tunnel data to back it up?

the best way to go is to send over a kit to a wind tunnel like the ford wind tunnel in missouri (we've seen the voltex wind tunnel from suzuka, japan) to get some real life data to identify exactly how much more downforce is produced by adding just that set of aerodynamics kit. start with an oem hardtop with no wing, bring in the mugen hardtop with no wing, then add on the wing. this should definitely give you a tangible feedback for the engineers but also produce some sort of marketable rep on your product.

Existing principles and CAD simulators.

Also, there are field studies being performed on the underbody diffusers. The track stars are conducting it for us, hopefully the magazines will still be in business to publish the findings.
