Default Update on Grille-Tech Grill

I previously posted some negative comments about Grille-Tech and the grill I bought from them. I would like to notify anyone who read my previous thread; Grille-Tech has resolved the issue much to my satisfaction.

There was no argument, no hassles, no problem. In my opinion, they acted in a very professional manner and I would not hesitate purchasing products from them in the future.

Below is the email Grill-Tech sent me regarding the problems I was having.

One last note, after talking with them, they are not requiring me to send in the old grill. This saves me a lot of hassel and shows good faith on their side.

---------------------

The Email Read:

Dear Ted:

Thank you for contacting us.

We apologize that we have not been able to respond to your previous e-mails;
however, we have experienced major server problems which has inhibited us
from having access to our e-mails. Please accept our sincere apologies.

We apologize that the flaking has occured on the grille insert. We did have
a batch of defective silver grilles back from two months ago and
unfortunately you must have been sent one of these. We will be glad to send
you out a new grille. This should not
happen and again we apologize. Should you instead prefer a refund in the
amount of $69 (as stated in your below e-mail), please enclose a note with
your return stating how you would prefer your refund (Paypal, company check,
or credit card refund). Also, please state in your note that "Kristina has
authorized a $69 refund due to defective grille insert).

Please mail the grille back to us at the following address:

Grille-Tech
1660 Rocky Branch Drive
Forest, VA 24551

As soon as we receive the defective grille, we will ship back a new grille
ASAP OR issue you a refund.

One other item to note ... if you do decide to receive a replacement grille,
you may want to consider keeping some type of wax or WD-40 on them as an
extra preventative measure to prohibit rust.

Thanks for your patience and again we apologies for any inconvenience this
may have caused. Should you have any further concerns or questions, please
do not hesitate to contact me

Best regards,
Kristina

Maybe you should post your apology on the other thread as well.
