Belated thanks for all your help and sound technical advice on replacement tires two weeks ago. If I hadn't consulted with this board I would have really been s-----d, blued, and tattooed. I was told Bridgestone Potenza S02 ZRs were the same as WRs, S2K OEM tires, by a tire store guy who proceeded to put the ZRs on my car. You guys advised me that the tires were different in several ways, that my car would handle better with WRs, and gave me lots of excellent technical data to back it up.

I went back to the store armed with that data, demanded they changeout for WRs, and got them just in time to go to Big Bear for a week on vacation. They had trouble finding WRs for some reason and I thought I was going to have to live with the ZRs until I got back. They found them days later and changed the tires out at 6PM the day before the morning we rolled out for Big Bear. I really tore up the mountain for a glorious week. In two days we do our Angeles Crest Run, which is shaping up to be a great meet, with about 15 S2Ks so far.
