Updated hoist recommendations?
Hey guys, I've done searching but alot of links that recommend hard top hoists seem to go to dead websites now (I assume because companies have gone out of business)? Just wondering if anyone has purchased a hardtop hoist and would recommend it. Thanks!

When I did my searching, I found the same. Concluded a hoist for a miata top would probably work slightly altered or you could roll your own with a kayak hoist and some mods.
I ultimately made my own electric hoist, which was a decent amount of work but turned out good.
Here's a home brew for a miata top:

I prefer the Harken Hoist - manual - to an electric hoist. They are expensive, but they will last a lifetime, and they work very well. I have three to store a sea kayak, a tripping canoe, and my OEM hardtop. Very happy.

+1 on the Harken Hoister recommendation with some mods to fit your needs. I'm not a hardtop guy, but I've had a Harken hoist for years for our canoe. Well made and works like a champ.
