Default Upgrade speakers at handaaccessories

Anyone try these? Trevor, are these offered from Honda, or are they just perfect fit replacements?

Personally I wouldn't, and didn't, buy those. I do not believe that they are a Honda part. They are simply a drop in fit. There specs. aren't very good and for the money you can do a lot better. A lot of people are quite happy with the Sony 1621's and they are a direct fit. I think they cost the same amount and they're frequency range is much better.

PS. I went with the Sony 1635M's because I'm not afraid to do a little cutting of the baskets to get them to fit. Haven't installled them yet, they come on Thurs.

I can't speak for the speakers for the stook but we put the upgrades speakers (4 door) and tweaters (2 A pillar mounted) in our 2001 CRV. They made a huge difference in sound quality.

To be honest, I don't remember how much we paid but I recall that it was a lot cheaper than what the dealership was asking.

I am sure that we could have gotten more performance by going to a "better" aftermarket speaker but we were able to maintain the full factory warranty by going this route.

Not sure If I helped but...

You have to watch out for that kinda stuff though...

okay, so the lowest price was 49.95
the shipping was 15.00
and tax is another 3 bucks maybe
so your looking at around $67 - $70

and that's from a lesser know e-tailer....but it IS in stock and it IS a few bucks cheaper....just an FYI from someone who has gotten screwed by that scenerio before...
