URGENT: Spoon Caliper Install Problem
Well im stumped. I have gon through the shop manual and used every idea i can think of to fix this problem to no avail. This is the scenerio:
I installed the spoon calipers/brackets and lines. I bled the system until there was a solid stream from both bleeders in the front calipers and the bleeders in the rear calipers. When i pump the brakes with the car off the system builds and maintains pressure. But when i start the car and push teh brakes down the pedal will push right to the floor and barely applies enough pressure to keep me from turning the wheels by hand.
I checked for leaks and found nothing. After reading the shop manual it states that if the car is started and the pedal drops more than 10mm after holding it for 30sec the master cylinder is bad. So i replaced the master cylinder and re-bled the system......i have the same problem still. Does anyone have any ideas of what might cause this?

You probably let too much fluid drain out and got air in the ABS system. There is no way to bleed them without a Honda ABS scan tool (which are usually on found at Honda dealers). You'll probably have to take it in or have it towed so they can bleed the ABS system. Basically they can activate the ABS without the car moving to pump the air out of the ABS modulator.
I had this happen on my Prelude and I took it to a shop and they told me I had to go to Honda. I took it to the dealer they bled it and everything was fine.

^^After bleeding the system about 20 times the brakes work very well, but the pedal is still spongy. Im going to take it to the dealership and have them bleed the system and the ABS module and hopefully that will get all the air out and stiffen the pedal up.
