Default Use two radar detectors?

I have a radar detector hardwired to my car. I have recently acquired a K40 brand detector and would like to get some input from you guys on whether there would be an advantage in mounting the second radar detector in the car?

If so where would you think would be a good place to mount it? The first one is right below the rear view mirror.

what a great location! if you have some time could you let me know how you wired that? did you run it to the outlet by the glove box?

what do you think about running a hard wire kit to my amp that I have in the trunk?

i don't see why you couldn't use the wires that feed your amp

the only thing i did was drill a small hole at the bottom of the secret compartment and than ran the wires to my fuse box along the driver's side door sill

try it temporary first. Sometimes radar detectors can interfer with each other.

great minds think alike, bass, all the way down to the windscreen

the mount was fabricated by my grandfather, general contractor and welder. the wiring was done with the hardwiring kit that came with the v1. you drill a small hole in the smaller area in the secret compartment. this lets you behind the triming. you then take the wires and lead them around the trimming, under the door trimming and to the fuse box. my windscreen is wired much the same. the v1 kit comes with just enough wire length to get the job done.
