I'm a game programmer, and did the audio systems for two past projects. Plus, I like to goof around at work to keep spirits up (we game programmers are weird like that).

Audio + Oddball = Audball

The day I got my black/black S2K (12/99) it instantly became The Raptor for the F22 Raptor next generation stealth/air superiority fighter. I was an F4C Phantom pilot in the Air Force and I have been following the development of this bird closely for a long time: Next generation stealth after the B2 Spirit: can pull away from an F15 Strike Eagle; with thrust vectoring (variable pitch turbine exhaust nozzles) it can turn on a dime and make the F18 Hornet look like a beer truck. I saw its public flying debut at the Edwards Air Show just before I got my S2K.

The Athanor in my signature, also my personalized plate, is the name of my company, Athanor Environmental Services. Athanor is a Medieval Arabic weord for an oven that was used to extract gold from base metal, an alchemist's term, something I would like to do.

Although not the best car I've owned, it was the most outrageous car ever to reside in my garage. Since it's gone: X.

I used random words and passwords when I logged into different forums and websites for years, but I got confused. The username at my favorite site was Tanqueray, so I standardized on it.

I figure it is almost as bad as having 'Jim Beam' or 'Jack Daniels' as a nickname, but I am too lazy to change it.

"sousleau", French for "below water", a reflection of my Dutch heritage.
My father's family helped reclaim parts of the North of Holand from the sea, and literally live below sea level, or below water.
Picked it as my net name, and it has stuck.

Went with AirGate because that was the name of the company I was working with when I bought my S2000 and started the online forum. . .

I like the name and others have told me to keep what I've got!

I wish I could have done it the same as my license plates. . .

TYMEFLYS

And it does. . .the time and the car. . .especially LIFE!
