sorry- as I said earlier, installs must be in FLORIDA. These items are installation included and are not for separate sale.
the lid is very labor intensive at this time, so it is not cost effective to build a one-off and ship it to california. However, if you guys wanna do a group buy of lets say 10-20 lids with the V1 sensor units inside, then start a list- and I'll call the installer and inquire into the possibility of group buying lids only.

I for one would be interested in just the lid work as I have been running w/ remote display, remote audio controller and compartment mounted V1 for 2.5yrs and certainly do not want the remote display anywhere where the fine gendarmes in the Commonwealth of VA can see it.
The molding looks wonderful and I think I can still fit it beneath my roll bar's cross member.
At this point I can't even open the lid due to the crossmember and would love to just mount the main unit permanently. I would be more than willing to pay $200 for the fabricated lid and succinct documentation on how to disassemble the unit and remount it. I think your installer will see a far larger market if he sells parts, not labor. The chances of him getting a line of S2000 owners willing to shell out $1K is probably pretty slim, but there are plenty of people that can wire the V1 accessories via RJ11's and don't need a mirror mount that takes the display out of line-of-sight.

Very impressive work. I don't like to flaunt the fact I have a detector but $500 for the detector and $1000 more to hide it all is for, as you say - those with lots of green.

one more thing- the mirror thing was just an afterthought- but if you choose otherwise, you can have the remote display unit mounted anywhere you choose- I thought about it sitting on the dash by the a pillar- (mine was originally there- or right above the radio door by those real small vents. JUST A THOUGHT...
you can really put that thing anywhere.
Lid still functions normally after install, for all those who were wondering...even stays in the upright position. There is nothing in the bins that the lid covers...the sensor is in the lid, and the rest of the V1's guts are behind interior trim pieces behind the drivers' seat.
