Wow this is incredible! Top notch modification as well.

I don't understand why people are hating on this so much - it's a cool project and he has to do a LOT of just-in-time engineering to pull this off.

I can't wait to see this finished! It looks like Xyster is doing this a lot more professionally than the other "LS2000" in the video.

I'm curious what you're doing with the wheels, also. The AP1 wheels on the other LS2000 looked like dredels on a power drill. I see you've swapped out the Honda wheel mounts and lugs as well as put some seriously wide tires on.... what kind of wheels?

nice build. don't mind the haters here and there. just like people will say that a 4 banger that makes less than 200 lbs/ft of torque is no sports car, people will say this is ruining the s.

i think that if our cars came stock with this set up no one would wine, i mean how much more does the new engine weigh ~100lb? who cares, with all the other stuff stripped it would make little difference.

i mean were we all not begging for a car the weighed about 2500 lbs, that had 300-350hp? well here is an example of someone making one... though this will likely have a bit more power!!!

i cannot wait untill we have a track vid of this thing. with the right set up it should put down vett like numbers if not better.

I was reading this hoping for a cheaper solution to the 300zx rear end swap, doesn't seem like any rear end for us is ch3ap. Congrats on the build, that shaved engine bay is looking mighty fine.

no it will be painted when the car gets painted, after it has gone through its tests and make sure everything is good before I would have to repaint something because I had to change something.

hell ya it should be quicker than stink! The reliable pump gas power to be had out of these are amazing. My LS2 with just mild cam, catted headers, intake, and tune is putting down 430 reliable whp everyday for the last 40K miles without a simgle hickup. even 350whp on an S would be just completely pants-on-head crazy.

Hey Id love to check this out when you get it together next time I went to LA, we should swap cars for a bit!
