Of course, you could buy two new S2000's for the price of one Z06.
But you can't buy one Z06 for the price of 2 new S2000's!

Is the new Vette suddenly able to go 300 mph? And do the 1/4 in 7 seconds?

"Twice as much and twice as fast. "

As in: "Corvettes spend twice as much time in the shop as S2ks, and wear out twice as fast."

A co-worker has a ZR-1 and was making a big deal out of his AAA membership with the "deluxe" towing allowance. I told him I'd be concerned about towing too, if I owned a GM car. Haha - burn!!

Side story: I knew a guy for whom that deluxe towing option really paid off.

We had spent the day up in the snow at Mt. Rainier, and when we got back to the parking lot his car keys were missing. Somewhere up on the mountain, buried in the snow, were his car keys. They are as gone as it gets.

But his gf has AAA. She calls and asks them to send a locksmith up. Well, Mt. Rainier is a pretty long haul from anywhere, and this was Sunday night. No luck. But they did have a 100 miles of free towing.

So they had a tow truck come and tow him all the way back to Seattle (about 75 miles). But keep in mind, this isn't 75 miles on the freeway. The trip takes at least a couple hours. The last 10 miles or so up to the parking lot takes half an hour all by itself. And the nearest tow truck is about an hour away. So the tow truck guy has to drive an hour to get him, then two hours to haul him all the way back to his house in Seattle, then another hour to get back to his home base. And AAA paid for it all.

When he finally got home he used his gf's keys to hey in, and then he just made a new copy of his spare keys. So you never know when that towing package might come in handy.
