Default V8 in a S2K?

Jus wondering if anyone has done a V8 conversion, I seen the solice w/ V8 earlier and wonder, there is plenty of room in engine bay, may have to beef up suspension, but an all aluminum V8 would be pretty kick ass. OR get ahold of and Offical F1 motor.

That would be an interesting setup and expensive.

I would think it would throw off the 50/50 balance of the S2k.

I guarantee you'll miss the 9k redline (or 8k redline for our unlucky newer model owners....j/k )

I don't understand the desire for such a swap when a properly done FI f20c can put out way more then V8 power out of the box, and you won't need to do a retarded amount of custom work in the process to install a very heavy, big ass V8. Just my opinion though.

lol wouldn't mind seeing the f430 engine stuck in an s2k... ..9000rpm rev limit from a flat plane v8 is pure bliss!

it's like the f20/f22 on steroids.....

I'd bet a turbo F20c would not only NOT have as much torque as a decent V8 (I'm thinking the LSx series here, the LS6 specifically) but will weigh as much or possibly even more than the V8. Not to mention the reliability would not be nearly the same.
