V8 in a S2K?

I don't understand the desire for such a swap when a properly done FI f20c can put out way more then V8 power out of the box, and you won't need to do a retarded amount of custom work in the process to install a very heavy, big ass V8. Just my opinion though.
And dont forget about torque.
no torque.. need more torque.. blah blah blah.
Honda didn't 'forget' to make this engine 'torquey'.
Try driving this car at its limits, while enjoying it, with 300hp/300+tq on a twisty road. You'd need to overhaul the suspension design among other things. Before people start jumping up in their chairs saying they have a supercharger, the powercurve is completely different in a powerful V8 car, which is obvious if you have driven one.
This car was built with a certain 'character' or style. Not every car should resemble the driving experience of a corvette.
I have much more fun driving an s2k than a c5. The low tq output s2k vs high tq output down low vette makes it much more driveable and controllable in quickly changing environments.
However, aluminum v8's are not significantly heavier than a FI F20C setup, and possibly more fuel efficient if you use a GM 6spd transmission. The later still blows my mind.

Different strokes for different folks I suppose. All that I am saying is that it would take so much work to drop a V8 into the S that it isn't worth it, but I guess you guys think otherwise.
When you guys say that our cars have no torque, have you ever driven in a turbo S before? or do you just assume that you need a V8 to have torque? I'm not trying to start a war over what is better, a V8 or a turbo, but you make it sound like I am talking crazy here. Maybe I am.

that's odd, i almost always like low end torque at the street.
don't get me wrong, i am love my S but i don't think it's up the level as a c5 or z06.
of course, Honda build their car according to their principle but i think someone WILL do a v8 swap sooner or later. I am not saying we all should drop the f20 f22 to get a LS1 or small block like it's the only way to do it, but i would love to see the swap possilble.
i drove my share of "fast" car, which include v8 roadster.
