Does this differ from a chip, i read articles on Voodoo 4 somethin or other basically saying that changing the fuel to air ratio only reduces your gas milage and if you push the peddle all the way down it makes no difference. It only changes how far you press the throttle to get a quicker response. How does the VAFC differ? And...do you have to put the VAFC in the console like that, or could you mount it anywhere...does anyone have pics of different mountings. Thanks...now im interested in one.

one more question....
How does the VAFC differ from the Hondata system. I read some reports saying people were "upgrading" to hondata. How do they differ?
and finally.....
I read this quote from google...

" The VAFC II also allows for the VTEC engagement point to be manipulated from 3000-7000 RPM, including the new i-VTEC systems."

Does that mean.. vtech will start at 3k rpms instead of 6k-9? i have the 00 model. Would this be good for the car?

There are no chips for our ecu.... The only to get a full tuning is with an aem ems $1500 plus around $300 for tuning

there is no hondata sytem either for our cars... And for vtec engagment you could drop it down to 3000, but that is pointless. I have mine at 5500 instead of 6000

^^ yah the only reason to drop vtech down to 3k rpm is for turbo cars. to help build boost at low rpm.

wonder if this would do any good for my 05? do you have any before and after dyno charts? Does this wiring harness eliminate any cuting or splicing during install?
