Default VAFC question

Can a regular shop install the VAFC on my car?
Does it require special tuning?

Well I wouldn't get it installed by Walmart.

Yes, it is pointless without dyno tuning. Get it installed by a company that is familiar with dyno tuning the V-AFC.

or bestbuy/ circuit city/good guys

Honestly, you need to take it to a shop that has a dyno. Make sure they are a ricey shop like they dont work on Mustangs or Cameros all day...
The VAFC is sorta easy to tune, yet difficult. Put that puppy in the wrong hands and u could end up with disaster!

Really? The grease monkey at my local WalMart said now that they've just got their newest airgun, they can do stereo installs in half the time they used to.
