What's the best price you've seen/heard for the S2K and where can I get that price? Do I still have to pay MSRP? As well how are the stock tires in Vancouver rain? Did you guys end up getting snow tires?

 

The tires are fine in the rain untill they start getting a little low... then the car just gets scarey. I replaced my worn rears with S03's and it made a HUGE difference. As for the winter season, I will DEFINITLY be getting winter tires this year.

 

I too would like to know what's a good price. I've been shopping around for a good deal. Must pick one up before the sun come out permanently

 

I bought mine for $46999 (plus GST and PST) from Carter Honda in Vancouver. I wanted a price below where the luxury sales tax kicked in. This price included air tax, documentation fees, freight and PDI. My dealer said he would never sell an S2000 at that price again...but I'm sure that if you timed your purchase correctly (end of the month and winter) you could get a deal. The sales person we dealt with (and found to be really professional and trustworthy) was Paul Robson (He's listed under the Canadian section of the "Dealers that sell at MSRP" on the home page of this site).
