Hi guys I'm new to this forum. I have a black 2000 S2000 with red interior. I would love to come on your drive that your planning but I blew up my second clutch and first tranny about a week ago. All the parts are on back order.

 

Vancouver ROCKS! A local s2k club is an awesome idea -- count me in! I was pretty surprised that we didn't have one set up already given the clubs for other cars (e.g. A4, M3 etc.)

 

How safe is it to park in Vancouver? Any area's we shoudl be avoiding if any of us out of towners come down?

 

East Hastings between Cambie and Gore is pretty rough -- but don't worry, we won't be going anywhere near that area. The area around QE is very nice and safe and ppl around Vancouver park with their tops down on a regular basis with no worries.

Hmmm....

How bout in December 11-16th? I'll be snowboarding at Whistler. I won't have my car though.

Howdy, the plan is to meet at 11:30 on Saturday (22nd) - that way people can either sleep in or if they're coming from Seattle, sit a little longer at the border if necessary.

P.S. BSDBC posted a good reminder on the other thread (https://www.s2ki.com/forums/showthread.php?...1433#post301433) about keeping our speed reasonable on the drive so that we can avoid those despicable tickets!
