First time in the rain today since I picked up my new baby last week. Noticed that the windshield wiper, when on variable speed, makes a fairly audible clicking. Is this normal? I haven't noticed this on other Honda's I've had.

It seems like some cars do it, some do not. Mine does it. I guess it depends on the relay that was used?

It's all good Carol. My car does it and other Hondas do it.

I got rained on within 30 minutes of driving off the lot in my new S2000. And yes, that sound is annoying!

I posted a thread like this when I first got my car. It only happens at the low setting, I was curious so I went to the honda dealer and checked it out on another brand new s2k and it did the same, so I figure it was the cars relay design. ever since I never worry about it

Does anyone get the click with the variable speed intermittent wipers? Oh wait....our $33K car DOESN'T HAVE variable speed intermittents! This is Honda number 4 for me that doesn't...just thought for this price I would have gotten them.

Anyway, all my Honda's have clicked....the four wheeled ones at least.
