I used jack stands.... but I also cut the hangers on my stock exhaust and let it slam to the floor..... i think most people wrestle them off....my way was easier.

Did you use jackstands?
My mechanic said I can rent one of his bay's at his shop for $15 an hour.
the reason Im asking is becouse my T1R should be here next week and I would like to do install myself.

just something you should know. WD-40 is the worst thing you could use on rubber hangers. wd-40 dries out the rubber hangers making them brittle and subject to cracking under high stress loads. you should use something like liquid wrench or even house hold dish soap works. also i have never understood the purpose of buying a single loud exhaust just to go stick the silanceer in it? you just lost all the power gain and made it SHHHHHHH. for that matter you could have bought any dual exhust and called it a day.

last 2 photos are of a version 1, I believe, and are not mine.

the one in the first few shots, before and after installation, was mine, and I believe it is a version 2.

IMO - the loudest and lightest cat-back for the S2k - can't imagine how loud it would be w/test pipe.

My single Spugen Ti-tip is loud but I'm told the Veilside Teardrop is even louder. I'll know soon enough as I have one soon to be in transit. At least it's lighter and I'm all for that. I'll miss the "Supra" exit angle that I've come to like on this Spugen. I definitely got some pop from adding it. Still waiting for Nick's rear fascia cap to arrive. I keep see-sawing on whether to paint it suzuka or not but you gotta love it when that piping on the Veilside turns to blue, the choice color!

What do you guys think of T1R, is that pretty good exhaust, if you compare them to Spugen or Veilside???
