OMG, i just put on my version 1 Veilside Teardrop Titanium Exhuast. This thing is ungodly when you hit vtec. I'm sure alot of you know about it, but i was speechless when i hit vtec tonight. I followed blks2k2 one day and it sounded awsome but its totally different when you are actually in the car. I'm defenely going to invest in some ear plugs for long trips . When i got home i put the silencer right on there. I love this exhaust already

I thought about getting the same thing, but didn't know a thing about installing.

Because my S is my daily driver (for now), I'm staying stock on exhaust. I pondered whenever someone had one of their's for sale. Pondered big time.

Summer's around the corner, and I may end up with one. Glad this one has a silencer. How quiet is it with the silencer?

 

didn't you total your car white _s2000@16 or am i confusing you with someone else?

 

Im not sure yet ill let you know tomorow, when i got home to put it in the silencer and it started raing which stunk, but ill let you know tomorow, Im not a genius but the exhuast install was easy took me and hour and a half. I was by my self on this one.
The reall pain is the hanger bushings, those suck. I didnt have the tool for them so i had to use my hands, and i struggled like hell on the first one then i gave the next a shot of wd-40, wd is your best freind for those things! you have to take that little upside down u shaped bar off with 4 14mm bolts and 2 10mm bolts for the shield that connects to it, then the three 14mm bolts to the cat, which i recomend you use pb blaster on. then just hang the new one in and bolt everything back up. by the way its alot easier to get to the hanger by jacing both sides of the rear end off and removing both wheels. and when you unbolt everything i used jackstands under both mufflers so it didnt just fall.

for me tho, i will try to find a very quite exhaust.
after having Skunk 2 exhaust on my Type R...i dont think i can stand loud exhaust, but then again i have bad hearing anyway from RPG blowing up on me. haha.

ahh what da hell i'm want to get Amuse Ti exhaust and i bet that is loud as hell.

 

Young R, thanks man the amuse is sick i listen to almost nightly in the best motoring videos, although im sure it doest do it justice, BTW where are you curently located in the US???

OK so what did you use for the install?
Did you use jackstands?
My mechanic said I can rent one of his bay's at his shop for $15 an hour.
the reason Im asking is becouse my T1R should be here next week and I would like to do install myself.

 

that thing is quite if you still have your stock catalytic converter...... I just swapped mine for a test pipe and JESUS CHRIST is the thing loud. Luckily I wear a helmet whenever I drive mine........I am a sped....

anyway...... the are loud either way, but about twice as loud with a test pipe.
