Lets keep this on topic, he asked if he should get either the Veilside or a knock off of the Veilside, not what everyone thought they looked like or how intelligent someone's may be with their comment based on their previous... Ideas...

With that in mind. KookyBastard32, if you really like the looks of the Veilside kit, then get the original. It may cost you more but in the end you will have fewer troubles. Don't waste your money on a knock-off, you'll spend the same, if not more just trying to get the thing to fit and look right.

I've spent some time, but not money, fixing the kit up since I can do most of the work myself. If you're not interested in doing that yourself, you'll be spending quite a few bucks regardless of cheap kit or not. You may buy the kit for $X and spend $Y to fix up a true Veilside...if you go cheapy route, you'll spend $X * 0.2 to buy it, but spend $Y * 5 to fix it up. Either way, it's about a wash unless you're doing all of the work to save the dough. Whoever picks up my kit at least gets the benefit of the time I've spent shaping/sanding it so far, putting holes in the correct places, etc.

Oh, and Razor, you might have hurt my feelings...if I actually CARED what others thought of MY car. How does it feel to be so concerned about what others think before making a purchase? No one asked if you thought the kit was "cool"...keep it on topic or click elsewhere.

Veilside wasn't on my list of nice kits, but then I did get to see it in person, and its true, MUCH better in person! Get the real stuff Besides the better quality and fitment, you'll probably be more proud to state its a true veilside, instead of explain that its really only a wanna-be veilside. Good luck!
