Default vented carbon fiber hood

does anyone know if this will affect the engine performance at all when it rains and water gets in through the vent, or will it damage the engine at all???

The most popular ones are Mugen, Amuse, J's and Top Secret...I think Amuse is the only one that will encounter a prob when raining.

The Amuse hood doesnt have a Rain gutter, so expect a wet engine bay when raining...it doesnt have windshield fluid nozzles neither, so some customizing need to be done...well strictly the Amuse dry carbon hood is not really a street hood, and for the price, only a few can afford.

actually amuse has a street version, with a hood latch, although it doesn't have a rain gutter, the vent is near the front of the hood above the area where the stock air box is located, so i don't know why there would be a problem, plus isn't there enough ways for rain to get in your engine bay? like from underneath where it's open?

Brandon, thanks for the updating, I think the biggest issue is still $$$, are you gonna go with the Amuse hood?
