vents behind seats

Default vents behind seats

does anybody know what the vents are for behind the seats? i was cleaning my car and i was saw them and was wondering?

They pull in air for the climate control.

They are cabin enviroment exaust vents. I saw an interior air flow diagram that showed the Ac/heat/Vent coming in from the front, and going out those vents.

The HVAC flow is when the top's up, I suppose!

The extra ventilation probably also helps lower pressure shock when the door is slammed shut and the top's up.

Oh so thats why the top expands (inflates?) when i close my trunk.
