vibrating/shaking gear handle

is it normal for the gear knob in the s2ks to vibrate and shake when in gear driving and at times in neutrel??

our car's tranmission is closer so it vibrates, compare to FF car like the DC2

Direct connection to the transmission located immediately below the shifter as opposed to having linkages with bushings softening the vibrations in a front drive.
