Default vibration at highway speeds..?

ok here goes...when i drive my 02 s2000 at 68 mph and above i have a vibration that seemingly is coming from the rear end of the car. My car still has about a month left on the warranty...but the place i bought it from is 3hrs away . Now i have a printout of a honda service bulletin that says it is probably the cv joints. Also i am going to get a printout of a test drive and diagnostic from a local honda dealership and fax it to the dealer i bought it from, so when i go to cape cod i have all the ammunition i need to get this fixed!! If worst comes to worst though and i cant get him to fix it and dont want him to buy back the car i would just replace the cv's myself..are there any preferred aftermarket cv's out there that anyone could give good word for or should i just stick with oem? thanks guys for any input

Is the vibration only speed related or happens when you are on the gas? If it happens with just speed regardless if on or off the gas it probably is something to do with the wheel balancing, if it's when on the gas then probably pitted axle buckets.

it only happens when accelerating...ive had my wheels rebalanced 2 times...so i think i really need new cv's but are there any aftermarket ones that could handle some more power than stock?

Why what sort of power are you putting down? Are you lowered? Or was the car lowered before you got the car?
You should be able to just swap the buckets side to side and should get rid of the vibrations if that is the issue where they get pitted.

moddiction- stock,no,no, and its a pulsating feeling after about 70 and to about 85 then in seems to go away...i would just have the piece of mind knowing that my axles could take the abuse if they needed to...but i really think im going to just go stock axles
