I HATE those "what if" comments. They make no sense when you actually think about it. Absolutely anything can happen at anytime. What if when i was walking a car hit me? Would that make it dangerous to walk down a street? yes, it is dangerous when someone who is not skilled is going 100mph down the street. but if a Experienced driver is doing it, its about as safe as anything, its hard to think of it that way, but its true. I'm not saying the guy in the vid is a expert, just please no more "WHAT IF"

Yea, I agree, this is nuts and I thought the same thing when I saw that truck get passed like he was in reverse. I also agree that what if's are just that...it's kind of pointless. One of my pet peeves is that speed kills. Yes, of course it does...but innattentive driving is a bigger killer, IMO.

Crazy video though. According to my new and most favorite toy, my Palm m505 (this thing rocks!), the metric converter tells me that 281 kph is equal to 174.6053 mph. That's some serious booty hauling...

 

WHAT IF - There was a family in a mini van in front of the first semi? What if it pulled out to pass the next semi? What if the guy hit the mini van and killed (a for sure at that speed) everybody? What if it was your wife and kids in the mini van?

Yes it is amazing to see 'our' car go that fast - BUT NOT ON A PUBLIC ROAD FOR F*&K SAKE!!!!!

I was under the impression that the top speed of the S2k was in the mid to high 150's. Is it just limited by a governor? If he is going 175mph, would an even higher speed be possible with the hardtop due to less drag? (unless or course he does have the hard top) or does the 6th gear ratio top out at that speed? Just curious. +
