Default Voodoo Knob: Pearl v. Ti

I like the looks of the Al much better than the Ti. However, I just recently found out that the weight of the Ti improves the shifting feel more so than the Al.

I'd like some feedback from people who have used both. Does the Ti version's extra weight justify the extra cost?

Ben, truth be known, out of the 4 knobs I've had (Stock Al, Honda Ti, Voodoo Al and Voodoo Ti) I like the Honda Ti the best from a shift feel stand point. That's not what's on my car however, I sold that one to Tedster, cheap!

The titanium knob is a different story altogether, from my personal experience ... The weight seems to made the shifting a right distribution when changing gears, the shift distance is slightly less while not significantly felt. But certainly, it's not priced unreasonably. It compliments the car, and vice-versa almost perfectly. On another note, the weight of a knob is quite important to a manual shifter. If it's too light, you apply too much pressure ... If it's too heavy, you loose contact feel.

I have had at least six different shift knobs and my favorite is the Voodoo Ti, but you have to decide about the extra $100 yourself.. all the knobs do the same thing.

I have the pearl Voodoo, and it shifts great + transfers less heat due to the clearcoat finish. Would a Ti Voodoo shift any better? Maybe, if that's possible, but I don't see enough room for improvement to justify the extra $$$.

That is what I paid for mine on Friday. Right now Bob is out of stock on the Pearl knobs. He has said that is going to be a couple weeks to create and the clearcoat them.

I didn't ask about the TI ones though as that was $100 more.
